An epic story – as told by a friend

Theo has received some letters from a friend. The story they contain will change the world.

This friend, a man called Luke, has been investigating the life, death and, amazingly, the resurrection of a man named Jesus.

Read Luke’s account of Jesus actions and the activities of his followers as they spread God’s good news to those who need to hear it.

An easy-to-read format with great illustrations

Dear Theo contains exciting comic book illustrations by Jason Ramasami, illustrator of Joseph and the Triumph of Grace.

His artwork is paired with text from the Books of Luke and Acts in the New International Reader’s Version (NIrV)  – a Bible translation that is designed be read and understood easily.

We are excited to be able to offer these books at only £1 a copy when you order ten or more copies.

Resources refreshed for 2022

Our Dear Theo resources are now easier to use in a variety of settings and require fewer props or paraphernalia!

30 sessions help young people (particularly 10–14-year-olds) engage with the books of Luke and Acts contained within Dear Theo.

Each session begins with an activity and an initial conversation about a story from Dear Theo. The activity can stand alone or can be explored further using four different creative options. You can use all four options in your session, giving the young people different ways to engage with the story OR you can choose the one best suited to your group. The choice is yours.

In addition, there are six all-age events based around some of the key stories in Dear Theo. These provide a great opportunity for people from different generations to have some fun while discovering the Bible together.
